Required Mods

AURBIS REQUIRES AN UP TO DATE SKYRIM 1.6.1170 ANNIVERSARY EDITION.

The Aurbis Launcher will inform you if there are any updates or new mods needed.

Aurbis runs on a fixed set of mods. Pick ONE of the install options below.

You never download Aurbis' own files, the Aurbis Launcher installs Aurbis plugins, UI, networking and configs. On every launch it validates your game version, SKSE, mods and load order, tells you exactly what is missing or wrong, and keeps the load order enforced. If a future update needs a new mod or version, the launcher will tell you.

Some mods ship as an installer (FOMOD), the exact options to pick are listed under each mod below.

OPTION A - Vortex + the Aurbis Collection. Recommended. One click subscribes you to our mod list and Vortex downloads and installs everything at the exact right versions, with the installer questions answered for you.

OPTION B - Manual install. Download every file in the Required Mods list below and place it in your game folder yourself. Follow individual mod instructions if anything is unclear and make sure to select the right options listed below.

The Required Mods list at the bottom of this post is the master reference if you install manually, Options A installs exactly those files.

OPTION A - Vortex + the Aurbis Collection (recommended)

Aurbis Collection - Revision 1

Install Vortex (Nexus Mods' own mod manager) and log in with your Nexus account.
In Vortex, go to Games, find Skyrim Special Edition and click Manage so Vortex controls your Steam install.
Open the collection link above and click Add to Vortex, then Install All when Vortex shows the collection.
Vortex now downloads every mod at the exact pinned version and installs them with the right options and load order. With a free Nexus account you have to click the download button once per mod as Vortex walks through the list (₃₅ clicks - grab a coffee); Nexus Premium does it all automatically.
When the collection shows 100%, make sure Vortex has deployed (it usually does this itself, if you see a yellow "Deploy" banner, click it).
Quick check: the file skse64_loader.exe should now sit next to SkyrimSE.exe in your Skyrim folder. If it doesn't, install SKSE by hand from its panel below — it's a 30-second job.
Start the Aurbis Launcher, run Update Client, and check the Client Status panel — everything should be green. If anything is red, the launcher tells you exactly which mod or file to fix.

NOTE: If you already have the mods, just drag them to the Vortex Mods category, then install the Aurbis Collection!

OPTION B - Manual Install

Manual install: download every mod below and install it to your Skyrim DATA folder by hand (two marked exceptions go next to SkyrimSE.exe instead).

Some mods ship as an installer (FOMOD) archive - where that matters, the exact folders to take are listed under the mod. Follow individual mod instructions if anything is unclear.

The list below is also the master reference for Option B: it names the exact Nexus file, version and size for every required mod.
