In Aurbis you do not live on willpower alone. Hunger, cold, and fatigue are real, they accumulate, and they shape what you can do. A long ride home in the rain is a different journey than the same ride on a warm afternoon — and your body knows the difference.
How it works
Survival is on by default. Your character grows hungry, grows cold in the northern holds, and tires through long days of work or war. Each is its own track — hunger eases when you eat, cold eases by hearth or hot drink, fatigue eases by rest — and each at its worst will bite into what you can do: blade-handling, spellwork, speech, even how clearly you read a page. The world doesn't punish you for living in it; it asks that you keep your body in mind.
